Korean food is always a good idea and I really love this simple dish. So tasty and healthy.
Ingredients
- ½ x cucumber
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ clove garlic
- ½ tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp honey
- 3 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Cucumber salad:
- 125 g beef
Steak:
- 1 tsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ clove garlic
- ¼ tsp sriracha
Marinade for the meat:
- 1 dl rice
Rice:
Method
- Rince and chop the cucumber into pieces. Add salt and mix well. Leave for 30 minutes and pour off excess liquid.
- To a small bowl, combine minced garlic, crushed chili flakes, honey, lime juice, sesame oil and apple cider vinegar. Pour this over the cucumber salad and combine.
- Rinse the rice and cook according to the instructions on the package.
- Heat a frying pan with neutral oil to high heat. Fry the meat on all sides and toss in a dollop of butter. Lower the heat slightly and pour over the fat until the meat is cooked through. This usually takes 3-4 minutes, depending on how well done you want the meat to be.
- Top the dish with sesame seeds for your pleasure. Enjoy!
