Spaghetti with Bacon and Brussels Sprouts in a Creamy Blue Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 70 g diced bacon
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 50 g blue cheese
  • 1 dl cream
  • 100 g frozen brussels sprouts
  • 100 g spaghetti

Method

  1. Slice the brussels sprouts in half and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper together with the diced bacon. Bake in on the middle rack of the oven at 220 degrees for about 15 minutes, until both bacon and sprouts are crispy.
  2. Boil spaghetti according to the instructions on the package.
  3. Mince the garlic and fry in a pan with olive oil.
  4. Turn the heat down and add the blue cheese and cream. Simmer until the blue cheese has melted and the cream has thickened a little.
  5. Fold the spaghetti into the sauce, then bacon and brussel sprouts as well. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
