Salmon and Macaroni

Salmon and Macaroni

A child-friendly dish. If you have any other vegetables in the fridge that you want to use, you can add broccoli, cauliflower or other root vegetables when you prepare the carrot.

Ingredients

  • 100 g macaroni
  • 2 x salmon fillet
  • 1 tsp butter
  • ½ x lemon
  • 1 x carrot

Method

  1. Fill a pot with water and bring to a boil. Add the macaroni, a little salt and cook for 8-10 minutes, depending on the type of macaroni you have.
  2. Melt butter to frying pan and place the salmon fillet to the hot pan. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Fry on medium heat until cooked through and golden on all sides.
  3. Divide the carrot into sticks and boil it for 3-4 minutes in salted water.
  4. Serve the salmon immediately with macaroni, butter and warm carrots.
