Ingredients
- 250 g okra
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 3 tbsp chickpea flour
- 300 g sun flower oil
Method
- Rinse the okra well with water and dry them off with a paper towel.
- Cut off the ends and divide each okra into two or four parts lengthwise. You can choose whether you want to remove the seeds or not.
- Mix the okra, spices, salt and flour to a bowl. Let it rest for approx. 10 min.
- Then you heat oil either in a fryer or a saucepan. Fry the okra sticks golden. Take them up with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with kitchen paper so that the paper absorbs excess oil.
- Served with yoghurt and sour cream dressing, or desired accessories.
