Ingredients
- 1 x yellow onion
- 800 g lamb meat
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp red pepper powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp sun flower oil
- 4 tbsp fresh coriander
Method
- Slice the union into strips.
- Marinate the pieces of meat by mixing all the ingredients well together in a bowl. Cover the bowl and leave the meat mixture in the fridge for at least 1 hour, preferably longer if you have time.
- Thread the pieces of meat onto barbecue skewers and place the lamb skewers on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side. Turn the skewers occasionally, until they are cooked through.
- Top with coriander and serve with desired side dishes.
