Gluten-free Savoury Waffles with Cheddar Cheese, Dill and Spring Onion

Ingredients

  • 35 g cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp spring onion
  • 2 tbsp dill
  • 3 x eggs
  • 3 ½ dl milk
  • 4 dl gluten-free whole grain flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp cream cheese

Method

  1. Grate the cheddar and mince the spring onion and dill.
  2. Whisk together the eggs and add the milk, cheddar, spring onion and dill.
  3. Add the dry ingredients and stir until you have a smooth and lump-free batter. Let the batter set for 15 minutes before frying them in a waffle iron together with butter.
  4. Serve with cream cheese and some extra spring onion and dill.
