Broccoli Soup with Bacon

How to Make

1. 1

Dice the garlic, onion and broccoli.

2. 2

Fry the onion and garlic in a saucepan with a little oil or butter until the onion is soft. Add the broccoli bouquets and cook for a few more minutes.

3. 3

Pour in water and bouillon, and let the soup cook for about 15 minutes - until the broccoli is tender.

4. 4

In the meantime, you can fry the diced bacon in a frying pan.

5. 5

Add cream to the soup and blend with an immersion blender until smooth. Season with a little salt and pepper if needed.

6. 6

Serve broccoli soup with bacon, and preferably some slices of bread.

7. 7

Note! If you follow the weekly menu, set aside 1 dl of the broccoli soup per person. It'll be used in the next dinner.
