Baked potato in 40 min

This baked potato takes a shortcut to your dinner plate. In principle, you can add any garnish you want – the potato invites you to empty the fridge of lots of goodies that should potentially be eaten. Cheese, corn, feta cheese, ham, fried chicken, spiced butter - Add whatever you like!

Ingredients

  • 1 x large potato
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp bbq seasoning with seaweed from lofoten
  • 1 handful grated cheese
  • 1 can corn

Method

  1. Place the butter to the counter.
  2. Pre heat the oven to 225 degrees celsius.
  3. Cut the potato in half and poke holes with a fork. Add a little olive oil and season with barbecue seasoning.
  4. If you have aluminum foil, you can cover the potato with foil. Bake the potato for 40 minutes.
  5. To a small bowl, combine butter at room temperature and barbecue seasoning.
  6. Take the potato out of the oven and make sure it is soft inside. Slice the potato crosswise and open it up so you can add in the filling.
  7. Top with spiced butter, cheese, corn and all other things from your fridge for your liking.
