Baked Pear Pastries with Vanilla Custard

Ingredients

  • ½ x pear
  • 1 x puff pastry sheet
  • 1 tbsp vanilla custard
  • ½ tbsp sliced almonds

Method

  1. Thinly slice the pear.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry. Place custard and pear slices on top, and sprinkle with almond flakes. Fold the edges of the puff pastry around the pear as shown on the picture.
  3. Bake according to the instructions on the puff pastry package. Serve with a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
