Ingredients
- 2 x puff pastry sheet
- 40 g blue cheese
- 100 g marzipan
- 1 x pear
Method
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees (430F) and cover a baking tray with a baking sheet. Slice the pastry sheets in half, creating four equal squares. Place a piece of blue cheese in the centre of each square.
- Slice the marzipan or grate it if it’s particularly firm. Distribute among the four squares, on top of the blue cheese and preferably covering the entire surface of the squares.
- Cut the pear into thin slices and place on top of the marzipan. You might have to cut off the ends of the slices to fit the square shape.
- Move the pastries onto the baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes – they should be golden around the edges. Let them cool down for about 5 minutes afterwards and serve while warm and gooey😊
