One of the first recipes I made and a big favourite among many. I have gotten a lot of praise for these waffles. One portion gives around 10 waffles.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 4 dl plant milk
- 100 g vegan butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 dl plain white flour
- ½ dl sugar
- 1 dl aquafaba
Method
- Melt butter.
- Have flour, sugar, baking powder and cardamom in a bowl.
- Pour in plant milk and aquafaba while you whisk.
- Put in the melted butter and mix together to a nice mixture.
- Put the waffle-mixture in a warm waffle iron. Put the freshly baked waffles in kitchen towl, to keep them warm and soft.
- Serve the waffles with either vegan sour cream and jam or vegan brown cheese.
