Salted Almonds

Salted almonds. The perfect Christmas snack that is perfect to give as a Christmas present.

Ingredients

  • 4 dl water
  • 1 dl salt
  • 5 dl almond

Method

  1. Boil water, add salt and stir until the salt dissolves.
  2. Add the almonds and remove the pan from the heat.
  3. Leave for 20-30 minutes, depending on how salty you want them.
  4. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees above and below.
  5. Pour off the water and spread the almonds on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake until the almonds start to turn light brown in the middle, about 10-12 minutes. The almonds will still be a little soft, but they will become completely crunchy as they cool. Cool completely before serving.
