There is nothing better than homemade rum bliss balls! They can easily be made in less than half an hour. The recipe gives approx. 14 medium balls.
Ingredients
- 350 g cake scraps
- 2 ½ tbsp raspberry jam
- 1 tsp rum essence
- 90 g butter
- 60 g powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp cacao
- 250 g baking chocolate
- 25 g sprinkles
Method
- 1. Whip together room temperature butter and icing sugar. 2. Add rum essence, jam and cacao. Mix well together. 3. Mix in the cake crumbs and form by hand medium size balls on a piece of baking paper. 4. Leave the balls in the fridge for at least an hour before dipping them in melted chocolate and decorating with sprinkles. 5. Store in a refrigerator in a tight box.
