Ingredients
- ½ x yellow onion
- 3 x potatoes
- 3 x carrot
- 150 g beef strips
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp plain white flour
- 5 dl beef broth
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper
Method
- Dice onions, potatoes and carrots.
- Brown the onions and steak strips in a saucepan. Once the steak strips have a nice crust (but are still rare inside), remove the meat and onion from the pan and set aside.
- In the same saucepan, brown the butter. Then add flour, stir well and simmer until golden brown.
- Stir in the beef broth little by little. Next, stir in black pepper, soy sauce and oyster sauce.
- To the soup, add the cooked meat, carrots and potatoes. Let the soup cook with the lid on for about 30 minutes.
