Chocolate Nicecream

CHOCOLATE LOVERS - A healthier summer snack from me to you <3 Enjoying a litte too much ice cream and chips in the heat? Try this recipe and I promise you that it is surprisingly good! Chocolate therapy with satiating banana and all the goodness from cocoa! Yum! I found discounted organic bananas in the discounted section of the store. Bought everything, and cut it into thin pieces before I had everything in the freezer. Win-win to reduce food waste.

Ingredients

  • 3 x banana
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 tbsp dutch-process cocoa powder

Method

  1. Freeze bananas overnight. And put them on the counter about 10 minutes before you make the ice cream. It is easier to blend the ice cream and the bananas are slightly thawed.
  2. Mix everything in a blender until it is completely smooth. Or you can use an immersion blender until the ice cream is creamy.
  3. Serve with walnuts, cocoa nibs, coconut flakes or almond slices. Nicecream is a nutritious and filling dessert in the summer heat! Enjoy!
