Cauliflower and Chickpea Burgers

Ingredients

  • ½ x cauliflower
  • 2 x polar bread
  • ½ pack chickpeas
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ⅓ pack guacamole spice mix
  • ⅓ pack spinach
  • ½ x red onion

Method

  1. Cut the cauliflower into pieces and bake in the middle of the oven at 220 degrees for about 30 minutes. For the last 5 minutes, toss in the polar breads so that they become crispy.
  2. In a food processor add fried cauliflower, fried polar bread in small pieces, chickpeas, garlic and guacamole spice mix. Mix well until the dough is lump-free.
  3. With wet hands, form the dough into burgers and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake the burgers at 200 degrees celsius for about 30 minutes. Flip halfway.
  4. Serve the burgers in polar bread with spinach, red onion and tzatziki.
