
Here's a little twist on the traditional stew. Child-friendly and quick to make.
Ingredients
- 1 x carrot
- ½ x celery root
- 5 dl water
- 1 x vegetable bouillon
- 1 x potatoes
- 1 x tomato
- 1 tsp tomato puree
- ½ tsp sriracha
- 2 x hot dogs
Method
- Dice carrot. Wash and peel the celery root and dice it into small pieces.
- Boil water and add vegetable bouillion.
- Add carrot and celery root to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.
- Peel and dice the potato. Add to the pot.
- Dice the tomato into pieces and place it to the pot together with the tomato puree and sriracha.
- Simmer for 15–20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Chop the hotdogs into small pieces and place them to the pot. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until the sausages are heated through.
- Serve with a slice of bread and tasty butter.
