If you have leftover pasta, this dish is the way to go. You can also enhance it by adding finely chopped cooked vegetables if you wish.
Ingredients
- 200 g dried pasta
 - 2 clove garlic
 - 3 tbsp dairy butter
 - 3 tbsp plain white flour
 - 5 dl whole milk
 - 3 handful grated cheese
 - 1 handful shredded parmesan
 - 1 tsp dijon mustard
 - 2 pinch black pepper
 - 1 pinch salt

Method
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
 - Finely chop the garlic. Melt the butter in a pan and sauté the garlic until it turns soft.
 - Add the wheat flour and stir-fry for about a minute. Pour in the milk gradually while stirring continuously to create a smooth sauce.
 - Incorporate the cheese, parmesan, mustard, pepper, and salt. Stir well until the cheese is completely melted. Allow it to simmer for a minute and add a little pasta water if necessary.
 - Transfer the sauce to an ovenproof dish with the cooked pasta. Optionally, sprinkle breadcrumbs or panko on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
 - Serve alongside pan-seared salmon, oven-baked chicken, or a delightful vegetable stew.
