Pita Greek-style with crispy chickpeas

Greek-style pite filled with tzatziki-like youghurt mix and crispy chickpeas! Healthy, tasty and cheap!

ingredienser

  • 4 x pita bread
  • 1 x red onion
  • 2 can chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp red pepper powder
  • 350 g greek yogurt
  • 1 x cucumber
  • 1 x lemon
  • 1 handful fresh dill

fremsgangsmåte

  1. Chop cucumbers in bite size pieces. Add to a bowl and mix in youghurt and juice from half a lemon. Add chopped dill and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Put the chickpeas on a baking sheet. Drizzle over olive oil and the dry spices. Put in the oven on 200°C for 30 minutes.
  3. Put the pitas in the oven underneath the chickpeas for 5 mins. Cut in halt and fill with youghurt mix, chopped red onion and chickpeas.
