Simplified version of the Indian dish tikka masala
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika powder
- 1 tbsp tumeric
- 1 tbsp garam masala
Spice mix:
- 600 g chicken thigh fillet
- 2 dl greek yogurt
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 clove garlic
- 10 g grated ginger
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Marinade:
- ½ x yellow onion
- 2 clove garlic
- 5 g grated ginger
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 can tomato puree
- 1 ½ dl heavy cream
- 1 tbsp sugar
Masala sauce:
Method
- Mix together the spice mix. This will be used in the marinade and sauce
- Take all the marinade in a bowl + half of the spice mix and mix together. Cut the chicken thigh fillet into small pieces and marinate. Should be marinated for at least an hour, but best if marinated overnight
- Mix together the sauce and let it cook for 10 minutes
- Fry the chicken and put it in the sauce
