This recipe is perfect if you have leftover burger buns. If you follow the weekly menu this dish is part of, you have made feta cheese cream the day before. Use this under the cheese if you please.
Ingredients
- 2 x burger buns
- 1 clove garlic
- 6 x plum tomato
- 2 tbsp feta cheese cream
- 120 g fresh mozzarella
Method
- Divide burger buns and place them on a tray with baking paper. Set the oven to 225 degrees celsius.
- Mince the garlic and chop plum tomato into pieces. Stir this together in a small bowl. Add fresh herbs if you please. Basil is recommended.
- Add feta cheese cream to the burger buns and top with tomato and fresh mozzarella. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Enjoy with a salad if you like.
