Vegan creamy pasta

A delicious pasta dish, which is easy and takes short time to make. You will devour this.

Ingredients

  • 1 x yellow onion
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 3 dl vegan cream
  • 1 tbsp vegetable bouillon
  • 1 dl nutritional yeast
  • ΒΌ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 200 g spaghetti
  • 200 g frozen peas

Method

  1. Finely chop onion and fry it in a pan with oil. This takes about 5 minutes on medium to high heat.
  2. Cook a lot of water in a high/big casserole.
  3. Have minced garlic together with the onion. Let it simmer on low to medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Have vegan cream, vegetable bouillon, nutritional yeast, pepper and corn starch over the onions and garlic. Wisk all together and cook while you stir. When it has thickened, let it simmer on low heat.
  5. Have a generous amount of salt in the cooking water and put in the spagetti. Let it cook as long as it says on the package.
  6. When the pasta is soft, put in the frozen peas and cook them. It takes around 2-3 minutes till the peas is soft. Drain of the water and have the spagetti and the peas back in the casserole. Pour over the saus and mix together.
  7. Serve with herb salt on top if you want.
