This Indian appetizer with a smoky flavor, made in homemade tandoori masala is perfect for any dinner party, or as a starter or dinner served with rice.
Ingredients
- 400 g scampi
- 1 can greek yogurt
- 5 clove garlic
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp red pepper powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 pinch chili flakes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lime
- 1 tsp chili oil
Method
- make the mariande in a deep bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, olive oil, lime juice and all the spices together. Add the shrimps and leave it for about 1 hour or longer.
- Steame some white rice and fry the shrimps in a hot pan a few minutes, until the shrimps have got that nice pink color. Pour over the tandoori sause, and give it a quick boil. Fry the papadums, and serve them with spicy tandoori shrimps, a bit of natural yoghurt, fresh chopped coriander and steamed rice.
