Chicken in parmesan sauce

Delicious pan-fried chicken in a creamy parmesan sauce, which makes everyday dinners a little better! You can serve this chicken pan with pasta, rice or fluffy mashed potatoes. Steam some vegetables or make a fresh salad and wait. Dinner is done! And I love delicious everyday dishes that makes quickly but taste a lot. The Parmesan adds so much delicious flavor to this sauce, and you hardly need any salt.

Ingredients

  • 4 x chicken breast
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp plain white flour
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 dl chicken broth
  • 2 dl cream
  • 60 g parmesan
  • 1 handful parsley

Method

  1. Wipe and season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Find a large frying pan and add olive oil and butter over a medium-high heat. Fry the chicken fillets for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and place the cooked fillets on a plate.
  4. Heat the pan again and sprinkle the flour, minced garlic and white wine vinegar into the pan and whisk well. Let it cook for a minute or two.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and whisk until the flour has dissolved and the sauce has thickened. Stir in the cream and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it has thickened to the desired consistency.
  6. Remove the frying pan from the heat and stir in the grated parmesan until it has melted into the sauce. Place the chicken back in the pan. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with parsley.
