This little bowl of happiness is almost like eating a salmon maki with chili mayo, without having to roll sushi like a pro. Well, not quite the same then. It's not sushi rice, and it's not nori sheet. But aside from that, it tastes pretty much the same!
Ingredients
- 2 tsp grated ginger
- ½ x lime
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- ½ tsp sugar
- 250 g rice
- 1 x mango
- 2 x avocado
- 4 x radishes
- 2 handful fresh coriander
- 1 handful roasted sesame seeds
- 500 g salmon of sashimi quality
Method
- Cook the rice as directed on the package. Let it cool completely.
- While the rice is cooking, peel and dice the mango and avocado. Wash the radishes well and slice thinly.
- Dice the salmon.
- Distribute everything in bowls on the table and enjoy a delicious and simple lunch or light dinner. I usually start with rice, then the other ingredients before topping with coriander, sesame seeds and dressing.
