Ingredients
- ¼ x red onion
- ½ clove garlic
- 100 g minced meat
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp water
- ¼ x cucumber
- ½ dl greek yogurt
- ½ tsp olive oil
Method
- This recipe is perfect to make for tapas or brunch and serve together with other recipes.
- Mince the red onion and half of the garlic. Add to a bowl together with the mince, salt, pepper, oregano and water. Mix well with a fork.
- Form the dough into balls and fry in a pan until all sides turn golden.
- Bake the meatballs in the oven at 200 degrees celcius for about 15 minutes until they are baked through.
- Grate the cucumber and add to a kitchen towel. Squeeze out as much of the water from the cucumber as you can.
- Add the cucumber to a bowl together with greek yoghurt, the rest of the garlic and olive oil. Mix together and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the meatballs warm or cold together with the tzatziki.
