Juicy chocolate cake is so delicious and always a winner at birthday parties, parties and all occasions! You can make this gluten-free with gluten-free flour, or use regular wheat flour. In the recipe I have used gluten-free flour so it is good to go for all food preferences! 1 serving makes one cake.
Ingredients
- 4 x eggs
- 2 dl sugar
- 5 dl gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 150 g butter
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 3 dl vanilla kesam
- 200 g dark baking chocolate
- 3 tbsp dairy butter
- 1 handful sprinkles
- 4 tbsp dutch-process cocoa powder
Method
- Heat the oven to 200 degrees celsius.
- Whisk eggs and sugar until eggy.
- Mix gluten-free flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, salt and baking cocoa in a bowl.
- Melt butter in a saucepan and allow to cool slightly.
- Now you have to mix it all up. Sift in the flour mixture to remove lumps in the dough. Do this alternately with the butter and vanilla Kesam. Stir gently with a spatula so that the air bubbles do not come out of the mixture.
- Chop the dark chocolate into pieces and stir it into the dough.
- Line a 20–25 cm springform pan with baking paper and grease the inside with butter.
- Bake for 35 minutes and cool the cake on a wire rack.
- Make the glaze by melting dark cooking chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir to combine. Cool slightly before pouring it over the cake.
- Decorate with sprinkles, candy, fresh raspberries, strawberries or roasted chopped almonds!
