Cut each chicken breast into large cubes of approx. 3 × 3 cm. Pour the egg white over the chicken so that everything is covered.
2
Mix the flour, cornstarch, salt and pepper in a bowl and turn the chicken in the flour mixture. The egg white makes the mixture stick to the meat.
3
Heat oil for deep-frying over medium-high heat. The oil in the pan should be high enough to cover the chicken. Deep fry the meat for approx. 5 min, or until the chicken turns a light golden brown color and becomes crispy. Add a little at a time, so the temperature doesn't get too low. Place the chicken on a wire rack or plate with some paper to drain.
4
Mince the garlic and mix together all the ingredients for the sauce. Taste with the honey according to how sweet you want the sauce.
5
Heat a frying pan to medium-high heat and add the sauce when the pan is hot. Let it simmer for approx. 1 minute. Lower the heat to low and add the chicken.
6
Fold the chicken into the sauce, let it sit for 1 minute and take the frying pan off the heat. Sprinkle over spring onions and extra sesame seeds. Served with boiled rice.
