Greek Yogurt Bread

Make these easy and delicious greek yogurt bread. They are done in under 15 minutes and are the perfect condiment to soups, stews and much more. You can add your favorite spices to the dough. I love to use onion powder, different herbs and garlic powder in this recipe. Servingtip: brush with garlic and herb butter before serving. You can substitute tipo-00 flour with all purpose flour.

  • 150 g tipo-00 flour
  • 165 g greek yogurt
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tsp salt

  1. Add ingredients to a bowl. Mix together with a spatula until almost combined. Tip the dough onto a surface and knead until combined. If it is to dry add a little more greek yogurt.
  2. Devide the dough into 4 equal parts. If you want smaller bread devide dough in 6-8 parts. Flour the surface and use a rolling pin to roll each ball into rounds. You can make them as thick or thin you prefer, but approximately 2-3 mm thick.
  3. Heat a frying pan on medium heat. Once the pan is hot add 1-2 tablespoons rapseed oil and a flatbread. Cook each side until golden. Add some more rapseed oil and repeat with the remaining flatbreads. Serve immediately.
