Wontons in Chili Sauce

Dumplings is the general term for a type of dough filled with different things. They can be made in many different variations, but these wonton dumplings are completely manageable to make, and they are very good! Psst: It's also a good idea to make some extra wontons to throw in the freezer so you have a quick dinner for a rainy day!

ingredienser

  • 150 g scampi
  • 300 g pork mince
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp shaoxing wine
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 pack wonton pastry wrappers
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp chili oil
  • 2 ½ tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp chinkiang vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 x spring onion
  • fresh coriander
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 x spring onion
  • 1 tbsp chili bean sauce/ toban djan
  • 2 tsp sesame oil

fremsgangsmåte

  1. Start with the wonton filling: Coarsely chop the scampi and mix with the minced pork, salt, finely grated ginger, Shaoxing wine (can be omitted), soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil and finely chopped spring onion. Keep the filling cold while you make the chili sauce!
  2. Mix all ingredients for the chili sauce: Soy sauce, water, chili oil, Toban Djan/ chili bean sauce, sugar, sesame oil, vinegar, finely grated garlic, finely chopped spring onions and cilantro.
  3. Fill the wonton wrappers with about 1 teaspoon of filling in each and glue them together with some water.
  4. Boil the wontons for 2-3 minutes and serve with the chilli sauce. Top with sesame seeds and finely chopped spring onions!
