Sticky Honey Glazed Chicken Wings


  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 1 dl olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 2 tbsp ketjap manis
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 dl soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 dl orange juice
  • 100 g honey
  • 5 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 pinch sesame seeds
  • 1 handful spring onion
  • 1 pinch fresh coriander


  1. Cover a baking tray with baking paper and pour out the chicken wings. Drizzle over olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, until they are cooked through.
  2. Find a bowl and mix together ketjup manis, white wine vinegar, soy sauce, orange juice, liquid honey, brown sugar and sesame oil. Pour the sauce into a hot pan and cook until you get a syrup-like consistency. Add the chicken wings, and gently stir them in the glaze. Sprinkle over some sesame seeds, spring onions and fresh coriander.
