Spaghetti with Walnut Pesto

ingredients

  • 3 handful fresh basil
  • 30 g walnuts
  • 8 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 100 g fresh spaghetti

method

  1. Add fresh basil, walnuts, extra virgin olive oil, nutritional yeast and garlic to a blender or food processor and mix until smooth. If you follow the weekly menu, set aside 1/2 the pesto. Store in the refrigerator.
  2. Prepare the spaghetti as shown on the instructions of the package.
  3. Mix the pesto to the spaghetti and enjoy! Note: Sprinkle some cheese over the spaghetti if you have. Taste amazing with this dish.
