Quixfix Cinnamon Rolls

ingredients

  • 4 1/2 dl plain yogurt
  • 450 g plain white flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 x eggs
  • 1 pack cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

method

  1. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees celsius.
  2. Mix all the ingredients for the dough into a bowl. The dough should be somewhat sticky, but feel free to use a little more flour if it becomes too sticky or impossible to roll
  3. Roll the dough into a rectangle and spread on the filling.
  4. Roll the dough and divide into equal-sized pieces. Brush with egg (can be omitted) and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until you get a golden brown colour.
  5. Mix together a box of cream cheese and icing sugar and spread over the buns when they have cooled.
