Quickfix Buns With Custard and Coconut


  • 2 dl vanilla yoghurt
  • 200 g plain white flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp cardamom
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 tbsp vanilla custard
  • 1 x eggs
  • 3 dl powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 8 tbsp shredded coconut


  1. Preheat the oven at 185 degrees celsius.
  2. In a bowl, mix vanilla yoghurt, flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, cardamom, salt and sugar. The dough should be slightly sticky.
  3. Shape the dough into slightly flat balls on baking paper (use extra flour if necessary) and press down a small "cavity" in the middle.
  4. Fill the cavity with vanilla cream and brush with egg before putting them in the oven.
  5. Let the buns bake for approx. twenty minutes. Mix together the icing sugar and water to make a glaze and let the buns cool down before you top them with the glaze and coconut mass.
