Moroccan Lamb Skewer

ingredients

  • 1 x yellow onion
  • 800 g lamb meat
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp red pepper powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp sun flower oil
  • 4 tbsp fresh coriander

method

  1. Slice the union into strips.
  2. Marinate the pieces of meat by mixing all the ingredients well together in a bowl. Cover the bowl and leave the meat mixture in the fridge for at least 1 hour, preferably longer if you have time.
  3. Thread the pieces of meat onto barbecue skewers and place the lamb skewers on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side. Turn the skewers occasionally, until they are cooked through.
  4. Top with coriander and serve with desired side dishes.
