Homemade Rice Porridge

ingredients

  • 1/2 dl short grain rice
  • 1 dl water
  • 2 1/2 dl whole milk
  • 1 pinch salt

method

  1. Boil short grain rice and water in a saucepan until the rice has absorbed almost all of the water.
  2. Add the milk and turn down the heat. Let the porridge simmer for about 1 hour. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
  3. Season with a tiny bit of salt at the end, and serve with sugar, cinnamon and a bit of butter.
