Hamburger with Homemade Salsa

ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 200 g minced meat
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 dl water
  • 1/4 x red onion
  • 6 x cherry tomatoes
  • 1/3 pack fresh coriander
  • 2 x burger buns
  • 1/3 pack rocket

method

  1. Start by making the burger patties. Mince the garlic and add to a bowl together with the minced meat, salt, pepper and water. Combine with a fork.
  2. Shape the dough into burgers (preferably extra large, as they shrink when cooked), and fry on the grill or in a frying pan for about 6-8 minutes on both sides.
  3. Make tomato salsa by mincing red onion, cherry tomatoes and coriander. Mix in a small bowl.
  4. Serve the burgers in burger buns with rocket and tomato salsa.
