Grilled Cheese with Plums and Chevre

ingredients

  • 2 x plums
  • 1/2 x red onion
  • 50 g chevre
  • 2 slices bread
  • 1/4 dl walnuts
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt

method

  1. Slice plums, red onion and chevre, and layer across the two slices of bread. Bake in the centre of the oven at 200 degrees celsius for about 10 minutes.
  2. Toast walnuts in a frying pan with olive oil and salt until the nuts have a golden brown color. Watch them carefully as this only takes a few minutes.
  3. Top the grilled cheese with toasted walnuts.
