Energy Balls

ingredients

  • 5 x medjool dates
  • 1 1/2 dl oats
  • 1 tbsp Dutch-process cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt flakes

method

  1. Remove the stone from the dates and place them in a bowl of boiled water for a few minutes to make them softer.
  2. Put oatmeal in a blender and mix until it has turned into flour.
  3. Melt coconut oil (or butter) and add in a food processor along with the dates, oatmeal, baking cocoa and flaxseed salt. Run in the food processor until you have a sticky dough (if you do not have a food processor, you can easily mash it all with a fork instead).
  4. Shape the dough into balls and store in the freezer.
