In this cool Christmas wreath, we have used our wonderful bun dough recipe to make buns in all shapes, and assembled them into a wreath. Let the Christmas Sprit arrive!


  • 150 g butter
  • 950 g plain white flour
  • 5 1/2 dl milk
  • 1 x eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 150 g sugar
  • 25 g yeast
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 1 x eggs


  1. Cut the butter into small cubes and leave it at room temperature.
  2. Put the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and knead for 10 minutes. The milk is added cold.
  3. Knead in the butter at the end, little by little. This should take 5-10 minutes.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise until doubled in size.
  5. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Form buns into various shapes; buns, pretzels, saffran buns, cinnamon rolls or any other way you want. Cover and leave the wreath to rise for about 40-60 minutes
  6. Brush with egg. Bake the wreath in the middle of the oven at 210 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
