Cherries with Whipped Cream


  • 200 g cherry
  • 100 g sugar
  • 50 g water
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 2 dl heavy cream
  • 200 g sweet oatmeal cookie


  1. Boil the cherries (without the stones) soft with sugar and water for about 10 minutes.
  2. Mix cornflour with some cold water and pour the mixture over the cherries.
  3. Stir while cooking until thick.
  4. Set aside to cool to the desired temperature. It can be eaten both cold and warm.
  5. Whip the cream with desired amount of sugar until nearly stiff whipped.
  6. Crush the sweet oatmeal cookies.
  7. Layer the sweet oatmeal cookies, cherries and whipped cream to a glas.
  8. Decorate with some grated chocolate. Enjoy!
