Broccoli Gratin with Bacon

ingredients

  • 1/2 x yellow onion
  • 3 x potatoes
  • 2 x carrots
  • 125 g diced bacon
  • 1/2 dl cream
  • 100 g cheese

method

  1. Dice onions, potatoes and carrots.
  2. Boil the potatoes and carrots in a saucepan until the potatoes start becoming tender.
  3. Fry the diced onions and bacon in a frying pan.
  4. Drain the vegetables and place them back in the saucepan. Add cream, leftover broccoli soup, onion and bacon. Mix well, and season with extra salt if needed.
  5. Place the mixture in an ovenproof dish and top with grated cheese. Bake in the middle of the oven at 200 degrees celsius for about 15 minutes.
