• 1 x beetroot
  • 1 x apple
  • 1/2 x red onion
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


  1. Peel the beetroot.
  2. Grate the beetroot, apple and red onion and mix in a bowl with sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Store in a sterilized jar in the fridge. Use the beet salad as toast topping together with cream cheese, cucumber and sprouts, or with your toppings of choice. The beetroot salad is delicious on burgers or sausages as well!
