- 1 x apple
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 x puff pastry sheet
- 1 tbsp vanilla custard
- First, divide the aple into equal-size wedges, before thinly slicing each wedge into several slices. Feel free to use a mandolin or a cheese grater.
- Sprinkle the apple slices with sugar and cinnamon, and set aside.
- Divide the puff pastry sheets into 5 cm-wide strips. Cover with vanilla custard and place the apple slices in layers so that they overlap. Roll them up and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Bake the roses according to the instructions on the puff pastry package. Cool on a rack.
